This is an older 2" diagonal that is in very good shape. The optics are fairly clean, with only some small amounts of dust, and it shows a bit of wear on the body consistent with age. It has a thumbscrew, as opposed to a compression ring. It comes with the 2" to 1.25" adapter, and both dust caps, but no box. We estimate that this is about 20-25 years old.
It is possible that this is an older TeleVue Enhanced Aluminum diagonal, but it contains no identifying information whatsoever - no label, no engraving, no nothing. The former owner thought this was a TeleVue; and both the overall construction and the general outline looks right: note the undercut on the outside of the eyepiece barrel.
But since we can't prove this either way, we are selling this as a generic 2" diagonal. This diagonal is for refractors, not SCTs. It includes the 2" to 1.25" adapter and both dust caps, but no box.

This TeleVue Diagonal Package comes with the 2" Enhanced Aluminum Diagonal (DSC-8001) and the matching ASF-2125, which is a 2" to 1.25" Adapter that allows you to use 1.25" eyepieces and accessories in the diagonal as well as 2".
The Tele Vue 90-degree 2" Diagonal is solid and well-built. It has an enhanced aluminum mirror with a 96% reflective surface. This enhanced coating provides added reflectance when compared with standard aluminum coatings, and the tough overcoat that is applied protects mirror and coatings. Finally, a resilient overcoat is applied to shield the aluminum.
The diagonal body is machined from a solid block of aluminum. The one-piece body construction assures that heavy accessories won't force the diagonal body to loosen from the barrel. Both the diagonal and its matching Satin adapter feature brass clamp rings and anti-reflection threads.
