Get Ready for the Mercury Transit!

The Mercury transit is November 11th, 2019! In Denver, the transit will already be in progress at Sunrise, and will continue through 11:04 AM.

We have a full lineup of solar filters and solar telescopes to help you make the most of this event - the last solar-planetary transit until 2032!

For viewing, you'll want a telescope with a solar filter. Eclipse glasses won't let you see the small dot of Mercury against the solar disc, and even solar binoculars will be challenging. (Mercury will be just 1/194th the size of the Sun.)
