This is a mini-EQ wedge for the seestar that provides better balance over the tripod than a standard wedge. Because of the more balanced weight, this wedge is even usable with the Seestar S30 mini tripod.
Includes everything you need to adapt your Seestar S30 or S50 to use Equatorial mode. A latitude adjustment base and vixen to 3/8" adapter plate for using the SeeStar S30 or S50 in Equatorial Mode.
IMPORTANT: The labeling for latitude on the side of the wedge is reversed from how you will want to set it. If you at 40°, you will set it to apprximately 50° on the printed scale (40° - 90° = 50°). The Seestar software will guide you through precise polar alignment.
The Seestar will thread onto the plate and may not be in the correct orientation for the polar alignment. You can correct this by opening the Seestar app, connecting to your scope, and rotating it through Scene mode to properly align.
This adjustable alt-az base/wedge also fit with other small camera mounts.
